BE Music serves as a distributor, which means we are responsible for distributing your recordings to various digital platforms and formats worldwide. This includes platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other digital music services where music can be streamed or purchased.
The distribution includes ensuring that the Recordings are appropriately formatted and compliant with these platforms' specifications. We handle the logistics of making the music available on these platforms and manage related data and metadata to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of music usage.
Publishing Adminstration
In addition to distribution, BE Music acts as a publishing administrator. This role involves managing and collecting music publishing royalties on behalf of the artist for the compositions.
Music publishing royalties are generated from various sources, including mechanical royalties (from recordings being reproduced and sold or streamed), performance royalties (from music being played publicly, like on radio or live venues), and sync fees (from music being used in media like TV, movies, or commercials).
As a publishing administrator, we handle the collection of these royalties from different collection societies and organizations, ensuring that the royalties due are appropriately accounted for, and get you paid.

You retain all ownership rights to your master recordings and compositions. We are only granted a non-exclusive license to distribute your recordings and administer your publishing rights. Upon termination of the agreement, all rights granted to us revert to you, and we cease all distribution and administrative activities related to your music.

Yes, you can terminate your agreement with BE Music, Inc. at any time by providing thirty (30) days’ written notice. Upon termination, all rights granted to us—including the distribution of your recordings and the administration of your publishing rights—will immediately revert to you. We will cease all promotional activities and remove your content from digital platforms where we have control. Additionally, we will provide a final accounting for any royalties or revenues collected up to the termination date.
